How Protandim Works?

Post by Admin 2/14/2012 12:25 pm

Our bodies already contain the information how to effectively combat stressful situations, such as oxidative stress and chronic inflammation. That information is stored in our genes. The secret lies in being able to instruct cells regarding the implementation of that information. Enter Protandim.

Protandim, the most potent commercially available Nrf2 Synergizer dietary supplement market, induces cells to produce more of the genetically encoded catalytic defense systems. Every enzyme molecule produced by this approach can eliminate up to 1 million free radicals per second, every second.

Protandim achieves this feat by activating a signaling molecule called Nrf2, the master regulator of the body's aging process. Nrf2 can switch on protective genes and switch off genes that may have a negative effect on health. When this protein messenger, Nrf2, is activated, it enters the nucleus of every cell and turns on hundreds of the body's survival genes.

These genes enable cells to survive in the face of several different kinds of stress, especially oxidative stress. Nrf2 also affects hundreds of other genes, pro-inflammatory and pro-fibrotic genes, by turning them down. Thus Protandim, a master regulator of the aging process and an Nrf2 synergizer, activates survival genes, including antioxidant genes that keep us safe from free radicals and oxidants.

It also turns down genes that perpetuate inflammation and genes that encourage slow, progressive fibrosis to take place. Together these actions provide a remarkable promise of protections from many kinds of age-related health conditions.

Oxidative Stress

Post by Admin 2/14/2012 2:25 am

We obtain energy by burning fuel with oxygen--that is, by combining digested food with oxygen from the air we breathe. This is a controlled metabolic process that, unfortunately, also generates dangerous byproducts.

These include free radicals--electronically unstable atoms or molecules capable of stripping electrons from any other molecules they meet in an effort to achieve stability. In their wake they create even more unstable molecules that attack their neighbors in domino-like chain reactions. This causes toxic effects that damage all components of the cell, including proteins, lipids and DNA.

Oxidative stress represents an imbalance between the production of oxygen and the body's ability to detoxify and repair the damage caused at the cellular level. In other words, although we need oxygen to live, high concentrations of it are actually corrosive and toxic. While one antioxidant molecule can fight only one or two free radicals before it is depleted, the body's free radical-fighting enzymes can each eliminate up to 1 million molecules per second, every second.

The most effective way to fight free radicals and the oxidative stress they cause is to trigger the body to produce its own free radical-fighting enzymes. Protandim activates the body's natural enzymes that subtantially reduce free radicals.

The Aging Problem

Post by Admin 2/14/2012 1:05 am

There's nothing like a new car, and you never forget the day your drive your first one off the lot. But eventually your new car ages, the catalytic converter becomes less effective, the exhaust isn't very clean, things begin to rust and the engine suffers wear and tear.

Our cells are like car engines. They have the same combustion process, produce some of the same byproducts and clean up with similar catalytic converters. When we're young, our enzymes (our cells' catalytic converters) function well and do a good job cleaning the toxic byproducts our bodies generate.

But unfortunately, like cars, our bodies don't always function like new. As we age, our bodies produce more free radicals and less of the special enzymes that fight free radicals causing oxidative stress. The damage by oxidative stress leads to the symptoms of aging.

Does a New Pill Contain the Fountain of Youth?

Post by Ann 2/13/2012 8:10 am

Dr. Joe McCord's latest research may unravel the mystery of aging. And if he succeeds, the answer could come in the form of a little yellow pill called Protandim.

The University of Colorado at Denver biochemistry professor has conducted decades of experiments into a special class of enzymes in the cell that some hope have the potential of extending lives and possibly preventing chronic diseases like cancer, diabetes and heart disease.

Much of his work has centered on oxidative stress -- which increases with age. TBARS, which are a measure of oxidative stress, can also be a rough indicator of a person's actual age. But, McCord has found that the ingredients in Protandim lowered the test subject's level of oxidative stress.

"They all are reduced to the level of oxidative stress that one would expect, frankly, in a newborn. Or a very young child,' he said.

Dangerous Radicals

Post by Ann 2/10/2012 11:10 am

To be sure, there have been other supposed "miracle" drugs and treatments that never delivered on their promise to delay or even stop human aging. But McCord, research director in the company that makes Protandim, believes this pill might be different.

To understand how Protandim works, you have to first understand how aging occurs.

Aging is "a slow progression of oxidative stress," McCord said. Much of oxidative stress comes from the basic function of eating.

As cells burn food, they also release toxic chemicals known as "free radicals" which cause cell damage and consequently -- oxidative stress.

The body fights back by making two anti-oxidant enzymes -- Catalase and SOD. But as people get older, those enzymes can get overwhelmed.

For a long time, scientists thought that anti-oxidant vitamins like C and E could lower oxidation, but many experts now believe they aren't effective. Protandim, McCord said, is much more powerful.

Tests on both mice and humans have already shown that it revs up the body's manufacture of those enzymes -- thereby reducing the presence of those harmful free radicals.

Is Protandim a Nrf2 Activator?

Post by Ann 2/8/2012 8:10 pm

Protandim's actions result from its ability to activate the transcription factor known as Nrf2. Protandim contains 5 ingredients that are known to scientists as Nrf2 activators. Nrf2 is a protein messenger contained in every cell of the body that sends information to the cell's DNA. That DNA consists of about 25,000 genes and the products of those genes make you who you are and what you are. There're unique for each person. DNA is what makes you a human being, what gives you your personality, what gives you your physical traits.

When this protein messenger called Nrf2 is activated, it enters the nucleus of every cell and it turns on several hundred of these 25,000 genes. And the genes that it turns on, or turns up, are known collectively as “survival genes.” What is a survival gene? These genes enable cells to survive in the face of several different kinds of stress, especially oxidative stress which is due to the over production of free radicals and other oxidants.

Nrf2 also affects another hundred or so genes by turning them down, not up. Included in these genes are pro-inflammatory and pro-fibrotic genes.

Inflammation accompanies many different disease processes. Everyone is familiar with inflammatory diseases like arthritis, but any time you get traumatic injuries, you sprain your ankle, bruise yourself, there is swelling and pain and redness that characterize inflammation. The process of inflammation is designed, in part, to prevent infection. One of the ways your body prevents infection is to kill invading microorganisms by intentionally making toxic free radicals. Thus the pain, redness and swelling in a cut are not so much from infection, but from inflammation as your body responds to the possibilities of an infection.

What are Pro-Fibrotic genes? Following inflammation in many kinds of diseases or traumatic injury is a process of scar tissue formation that scientists refer to as “fibrosis”. A number of genes turn on that process. And while fibrosis can be a good thing if you’re healing a cut, in many other diseases it is a bad thing. For example, many older people die each year from heart failure– the failure of the pumping action of the heart due to this process of fibrosis. This is quite a different process from “hardening of the arteries” or atherosclerosis, which leads
to heart attacks and strokes.

So, Protandim, as a Nrf2 activator, activates survival genes, such as antioxidant genes that keep us safe from free radicals and oxidants. It also turns down genes that perpetuate inflammation and genes that encourage slow, progressive fibrosis to take place. Together, these actions provide a remarkable promise of protection from many kinds of age-related diseases.

Protandim is among the very first of the products that are appearing, and will appear, as Nrf2 activators. It is, as far as we know, the first potent Nrf2 Activator that is commercially available.

How to Pay for Your Own Protandim

Post by Admin 3/15/2012 3:10 pm

As a distributor, is it possible to get enough customers to pay for your own Protandim? Sure. There are a variety of ways to do this. If your Protandim costs you $40 per month, plus lets say some tax and shipping, how many customers or product purchases would you need to cover the cost of your own Protandim? Well on an ongoing basis, you would need about $2250 of monthly group volume if you have no distributors, because you'd make 2% of that per month. If you have a distributor you can place these customers under, it would be $900 in group volume per month, and if that distributor has a distributor, you can move your customers to your 3rd level, and after $500 of monthly GROUP volume, you'd be making enough to have your own Protandim basically free. Really it's not hard.

Of course the above doesn't include any fast start bunus's you would receive, that could easily pay for a bottle or more of Protandim in a month, since if you enroll a distributor as a bantage pack you get $210 (it's 4 months worth of Protandim), and cusutomers you receive 40% of their first month order, which for 1 Protandim bottle is about $16, so if you do 2-3 new customer enrollments per month, you've covered your Protandim for FREE.

How to Get Protandim for Free

Post by Ann 3/16/2012 5:14 pm

Let say how many time in your life time have you share something good with your family members or refer friends to a restaurant that server good food? And what you can get after a referal, nothing right? Guess what the products/ services you refer, get free advertising. Here I show you how to get Protandim for free with referal. That's nice isn't it?

You can get Protandim for free by simply being a preferred customer, then refer 5 people who buy Protandim like you, as a preferred customer. They, company, will credit you, on your next month purchase 25%, so for 5 bottles, that is $50, that pay for more than your $40 bottle of Protandim but the sales tax and shipping with funds left over that will accrue, so you can spend it on TrueScience as your account builds up.

This applies to any preferred customer in Canada, Japan, Mexico or in the USA. The best part is your referrals are enrolled "under you", and remember this as you have a number of referrals in your list you can always upgrade to be a distributor. It's a great program. This discount program makes it possible for you to pay less than $40 for protandim, simply by referring 1 person.

To refer a customer, use your preferred customer number when they create an account. If you do not know that number, contact your enroller or the customer service by phone or email.
